Historical Interpreter
Finds immense joy in reenacting and is passionate about highlighting the roles of African Americans and Indigenous people in the American Revolution and Civil War.

David, a historical interpreter from Halifax County, North Carolina, has immersed himself in living history and reenactments for the last 4 years.
A graduate of Southeast Halifax High School and Saint Augustine’s College, David grew up attending Crowell Missionary Baptist Church.
Inspired by his father, an Army veteran, he finds immense joy in reenacting and is passionate about highlighting the roles of African Americans and Indigenous people in the American Revolution and Civil War. David also serves as a historical interpreter at the Halifax Historical Museum.
